User Submitted Update, thanks to Chris Bolos for keeping everyone informed!
When I left Moab around 9:30 this morning the Loop Road was clear and dry to the Morris Last Resort cabins. Here the road became a mix of snowpacked and slush. When I turned onto the Geyser Pass Road there were 3 inches of new snow on the road (it had not been plowed). It was somewhat slick in spots because of the ice underneath, but overall was in fairly good condition. There were 3 to 4 inches of new snow at the Geyser Pass TH.
Heard in the shop today:
The road to Oowah has only seen a few skier skiers and a snowshoes and is in excellent condition. Good coverage and ski-able back down. A good alternative to Geyser Pass!
