Be careful today!
Check out the radar loop from nooa.gov this morning. There is the possibility of rain showers all day today and tonight with a few lingering showers possible tomorrow. Take care, especially if you were planning to enter any canyons.

From the Weather Story:
“Monsoonal moisture will be pulled into the region from the south today. This will allow for an increase in showers and thunderstorms today, becoming widespread by this afternoon. Some of our southern counties in western Colorado and eastern Utah are at a “marginal risk” for severe weather this afternoon and evening. The main threat from stronger storms that develop will be strong, gusty outflow winds and locally heavy rainfall. Intensity and coverage of storms will gradually diminish overnight into tomorrow morning as drier air begins to filter into northwest Colorado. However, lingering moisture will allow for showers to persist tomorrow, particularly over portions of southern Colorado. Conditions will remain generally dry Sunday and Monday before the next surge of monsoonal moisture arrives Tuesday.”
