Lauren Hebert has been working with Moab Gear Trader since October of 2020 and comes to us from the rainy Bainbridge Island just outside of Seattle Washington.
She was drawn to the unique landscape of Moab, having spent time climbing, backpacking, and mountain biking in our little corner of the southwest. However, it was the community that really helped her commit to this small town.
Lauren enjoys rock climbing, mountain biking, trail running, glacier mountaineering, and backpacking. And she won’t pick a favorite! Getting outside and into nature is what’s most important to Lauren, there are so many quality ways to spend time outside, why limit yourself to just one?
A trip she’s most proud of is her solo bike packing adventure she took last winter in Ecuador. The trip pushed her mentally and physically and she gained a lot of experience from it.
One thing she won’t adventure without is her puffy pants! Not only do they keep her warm in the snow, but they also keep her nice and toasty on cold desert nights.
Come by Moab Gear Trader and say hi to Lauren, she will be more than happy to show you around the shop and regale you with tales of her time in Ecuador!
