Though grooming of Geyser Pass and Gold Basin roads has concluded for the season, the trail remains firm enough to classic ski, fat bike or run. Expect soft punchy patches in the shade and slightly more firm snow in the sun (at least until the temperature rises).

We saw Snowranger Eric in Gold Basin just after he took the daily snowstake reading: a 66 inch base remains.
